Cancer Strikes Again…

Kelly Kranson, mother of 3 RCS students

(2 at Hugger 1 at Hart) was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer in Oct. 2019.

After some time of stability more cancer was discovered, and Kelly underwent surgery in Feb 2023.

3 cancerous tumors and Lymph Nodes were removed and HIPEC(Heated Chemo) was performed for a 2nd time.

In March another tumor was discovered in her brain, which was treated with a high dose of radiation.

In May Kelly will begin receiving intense chemotherapy every other week for 6 months to treat any residual cancer not discovered at time of surgery.

Due to Stage IV diagnosis she will never be cured of cancer.
